Has anybody used them? I would like to cut down on some of the wind around the tank and most say only the fang HD deflectors accomplish this. But for the life of me I cant get over how they look.
Im ok if the GADS parts do 70% of what the HD parts do. They look much better and cost much less....
I have the GADS and the deflector that goes between the forks and bolts to the lower triple tree. With both on there, they work pretty good, and not obvious.
I have a 2018 Road Glide...I put Harleys wind deflectors on as well as Kuryakyn fork protectors....Now i have added GADS that bolt on to the bottom of the fairing and I am happy with the wind management I have....I do where a full face helmet all the time....I also use a Sena free wire for full blue tooth and wind is not an issue!
yeah..... I have the fugly fangs.... But I believe I put these on before these other things came about. I will follow this as I am curious how they work, and what the overall appearance is. I hate the fangs but love the fact it cuts the wind and buffeting. These do look a bit more unobtrusive than the fangs....
I currently have the Harley fangs, coated black. Works quite well but hate the look. Just ordered the SGADS14 in smoke and hope they work as good. Will take some time get them to Germany and then have to wait for better weather to test them.
Hi all,
I have the triple tree- side of the fairing package for my 15 Road Glide Special. That and a taller windshield helped, do I still get some buffeting, absolutely. Know one has ever mentioned or asked about them, mine blend in I guess. Hope that might help......goldie
