I do not think you can adjust the brightness of your switch packs... if they're lit like mine, give it a couple years and they'll all burn out! lol
one side of mine all but a couple do not work anymore, the other side only 1 or two are out... but the switches work fine.
I do not believe there's anyway to adjust the brightness of them.

Thats for the brightness of the buttons on the stereo itself, and it has no effect on the switch packs (on mine at least), which, unless I am reading it wrong, I think is what the OP was asking.

Look at the video's image. It's showing the handlebar buttons.

Boom settings do not affect the brightness of illuminated hand control switches.

I did look at it... and you're right, it is showing the hand controls (ON THE SCREEN SHOT RIGHT ABOVE), but it doesn't say they are brightened/dimmed by doing that. ... however, if you start at the beginning of that section under "System Personalization"> then "Adjust Display Setting", it tells what those setting changes (adjust the TFT Display Backlight, and Hard Key Illumination On The Face Plate) , and the control packs are not mentioned in there. On mine, all that does is brighten/dim the backlighting for the stereo's buttons. The hand controls did not change at all, from all the way dimmed to all the way bright. Maybe it is showing which buttons are used to navigate to the function??? I don't know lol but it also shows those switch pack the same way in the "Screen Brightness" clip.

I doubt H-D would have the Boom! programmed to interact with the lights in the switch packs, especially since probably 99% of owners don't have lighted switch packs.

OP, you should give your eyes time to adjust, especially if your eyes are affected by the screen, the light from your headlights, other vehicle headlights or other ambient lighting. Are they dim when you're out in the middle of nowhere and it's pitch black?
