I might be mistaken, but I don't believe there is an IACV on anything newer than somewhere around 06 or 07. There is an inlet air temp sensor that might be all sludged up with blow by oil and cleaning that wouldn't hurt anytime. A couple of free things to try since nothing else has worked, cycle the ignition (with the run switch ON) slowly 4 times. Some wait for the fuel pump to stop each time, but a little more rapid than that has worked for me. That resets the idle reference in the computer if it has gotten messed up from holding the front brake at shut down. Frequently that rolls the throttle slightly forward and that messes up the idle reference. The other, disconnect and reconnect the fuel line quick disconnect on the bottom of the gas tank. On rare occasions, the check valve partially or fully closes off the fuel flow and reconnecting the fuel line seems to correct that. If none of this works either, sounds like a trip to the shop for some professional trouble shooting. I don't know how to test the engine temp sensor or the crank shaft position sensor that also might contribute to this.
Cheers mate and yes, its a MAP not an IACV. I have cycled the ignition already and that didnt work. I will try the fuel line but since it runs fine even to WOT then I dont think theres an issue. The previous poster suggested the cleaning the CPS so I will have a look at that later. I am a EVO and Shovel guy, all this modern stuff does my head in!
Your right btsom , no IACV on the 14's that can be cleaned , mine doesn't have one that can be cleaned using that procedure also . Good call !
Resetting the idle is a good idea , I've seen a couple of posts in the past where that has helped .
Cleaning the throttle body and butterfly may help as well , if it's really caked up with carbon . I usually do it every spring , using some sea foam and a tooth brush .

Me too, a carburetor and points, and I am much more at home. Hope the fires aren't uncomfortably close.
