I'm looking to upgrade the lights on my '05 EG Classic to LEDs. I've seen on a review that the visors I have on all three lights don't work on the spot lamps. Did anyone try this or have any issues installing the visors? Also reading the headlamp is plug-and-play, but the spots need hardwired... any help is greatly appreciated!
Plus, I'd like some opinions. My end game idea is to have all white driving lights in the front, but I'm wondering what to do with turns. I have the LED windshield strip already installed. Would it be too much (look dumb) to have the spots and turn signals go amber for turns as well?
I use Ciro turn lights, white when running( bright also ), then they go amber when turning, looks fine to me, also running passing lamps. After all how long do the turn signal stay on, besides can't see them from where I'm sitting, but know they look good when just in the run position. Went with Hogworkz Headlight like Daymaker, cheaper and just as good, also their passing lamp bulbs also.

My Dyna came with a halogen headlight. I switched it to a Custom Dynamics TruBEAM. I could not be more satisfied and if I was buying an LED headlamp this is the way I'd go. My FLHTP came with a Daymaker so I'm going to leave it be for now.
As for the turn signals, on my FLHTP I've again sourced Custom Dynamics and used their 4th generation LED inserts that run white but switch to amber when turn signals/hazards are activated. Again, I could not be more satisfied.
I'm going to add a pair of Motolights to my FLHTP and am having a tough time deciding between amber and white LED's. I prefer to ride during daylight to avoid the wildlife on the roads (deer, feral hogs, etc). So my lights are primarily used for conspicuity for other vehicle operators during the daylight. I installed el cheapo Amazon special amber LED passing lamps on my Dyna. They aren't worth a **** at night. But when riding with a group during the day I asked a fellow rider to compare my Dyna light setup (Custom Dynamics white LED headlight with Amazon amber passing lamps) with other riders bikes, specifically those equipped with all halogen and those with top dollar all white LED lights. His opinion was that my white LED headlight coupled with the amber LED passing lamps was more conspicuous. Which was exactly my intent. I want the other idiots on the road to notice (see) me.
