Anyone have insight on why my friend is having an issue with his cb where I can hear him put he can't hear me he also has the sena headsets we have turned it off and plugged in a regular headset and also used a handheld cb just to make sure it wasn't my bike we checked all the volume settings thoughts? Thanks
The Boom radios have separate volume controls for each option. The radio, nav prompts, phone and cb volume all use their own volume settings. They are controlled independently of each other.
To adjust the volume of nav prompts, the nav must be active. To adjust cb volume, the cb must be active. Adjust the squelch so cb noise is heard (or at least breaking radio sound) and adjust its volume.

Let us know the results.
Yep, all that plus if the sena headset is in the intercom mode he will not be able to hear the CB.
Can he hear music, phone and Nav commands? If yes, it has to be in the Boom settings unless of course the CB module is bad,
One other possibility is, although you can here him, he may not be receiving because his antenna may not be properly installed. Check all connections.

JT, the two most knowledgeable folks at this Forum are Brandon Smith and RIDER X . Send them a PM and they will help you get setup correctly. RIDER X has some great work-arounds when it comes to the BOOM and Sena and Packtalk headsets. Between the two of them, I'm sure they can get you fixed up.

Glad he got it figured out. DSM LIMITED in the 1st reply said to check the squelch setting. Sometimes it's the most simple things that are overlooked.
