Default Compression test

Today i made a compression test, can you tell me if these results are ok?
Bike is a EG 2009 96" with 68K miles. I bought it second hand and it´s my first HD, i have the service manual but i dont have these results there (at least i don´t see them).
No smoke at all.

I have always been under the impression that if the cylinders are not more than 10% difference you are ok. Pretty close I would say

Is there a reason you performed a compression test? If it was running okay, just ride it. Were the spark plugs fouling or other issues? Or did you just want to try out a new tool (which is okay). If it starts and runs, ride it, perform normal maintenance and enjoy. Too many people do stuff that is not needed and way over think stuff.

Looks like they are just under 190 and 200. Nothing wrong with that.

New bike to me, i need to know what expect from a engine with 65K miles. Spark plugs are The bike have the main transmission bearing making noises, also need a compensator.
This is too expensive to "just ride", Spark plugs full of rust but are burning ok i dont know nothing from previous owner.

That is why i ask if the values are ok, i didnt found nothing in the manual or seraching the forum.

You are fine with that compression test...

FWIW... I have two softails, '01 88" & '03 88" as well as a '16 bagger 103"... I have HD Service Manuals for all three, plus a manual for a 2012 103" I had/sold....

All of the HD Service Manuals have a section on doing a compression test, along with the specs for a healthy test... Look it up in the glossary at the end of the manual and it is there... If you don't have an HD Service Manual, I suggest you get one... I've tried the others and they end up in the trash while the appropriate HD manual ends up on my shelf....

I don't have a 96" manual, but the 88" manuals say minimum of 90psi with no more than 10% difference between the two cylinders... The 103" manuals say min of 175 psi (w/ACRs disconnected) with no more than 10% difference between the two cylinders.

Good luck with upgrading the maintenance and enjoy the new bike...!

Looks like that motor has had some work to it, at least cams …

I don’t know if your manual is different then mine, but the compression test is on page 3-17.

125 PSI with no more then 10% difference.

So yea, your good.
