need some experienced advice
i have a 04 FLHTI. with a ticking/rattling noise at all speeds. took it to the stealer and he said that the muffler clamp was positioned wrong. so i left and 2 miles down the road quess what starts again. anyadvice is helpful thanks.

Listen for it at idle. Put your hand (with gloves on) on the exhaust pipes. If it stops, look at the rubber bushings that the pipes are mounted to under the saddlebags. Mine makes noise there, and I stopped it by lubricating the rubber with a product called Super Lube. It's a synthetic grease thats good to temps up to 475 degrees. Also check all the heat shield clamps. One of them may be loose and rattling.
