What can I say more than WOW what a difference they make. Imagine If you will a wore out pair of Stock air shocks with no air lines connected and having your back hurt with every bump and or hole in the road. That is the way I have been riding for the last four or five years No longer now do I have to stand up on the floorboards to make riding painless.
Now as for Howard, I didn't have a problem with him at all. He has been very helpful with me choosing the right shock, and rebuilding them to give me the ultimate performance out of my shocks. I mounted them like Howard told me to, and I did it that away because as devoted as Howard is I figure he knows how to make them last longer than I will be able to ride. My hats off to Howard and his reworked Ohlins Sportster shocks.
Oh yeah one more thing he ride now is so good that I am not going to have to worry about setting the sag. One of these days I might back off the preload adjusters a couple of turns just to see if it rides any better but for right now I am as happy as a lark.

When did you order them? I ordered mine may 3 and last called May 8th. He said he was very busy. I figured everyone is pretty behind with COVID.
Right you are, they are the Ohlins 754 sportster shock that Howard revamped to make a great touring shock for my Road King with two fat butts on it.
I think these are the ones I have, #2-3B (Blacklines). I've got a few thousand miles on them, and they do ride nice. If I run over a manhole cover, I can feel it in the front end but the rear is smooth as silk. It's time for some Ohlins up front soon!
Congratulations, a good tuned suspension makes a world of difference. Hard to explain to people just how bad the HD stuff is and how much better it can be.
