05 EG to 08 SG
I am looking at buying a pair of 9 spoke stock rims to replace my laced ones. Can anyone confirm if these 9 spoke wheels off a 2005 Electra Glide are a direct fit for my 2008 Street Glide?

They'll work, yes. You'll have to get bearings for your bike (25mm) and if I recall correctly there will be a thin spacer on your parts list to go behind the primary bearing (left front, right rear) that you'll not use with the older wheel. Relates to the availability of ABS for your year. 08 can be a little tricky. Don't take any of this as gospel.

08 is a bit of an oddity. Wheels will work but you will have to use bearings for the 25mm axle and rotors for the 08 Brembo brakes and transfer the bowl for the IDS pulley. Oddly enough, an 09 and up front wheel is a bolt-on but the 09 rears won't fit.

Yeah I've been doing a lot of research and the 08 seems to be a bastard child. I plan on new bearings and swapping my rotor out. By the bowel do you mean the axle sleeve?

Isolators - they insulate the pulley from vibration against the wheel. But then you're probably right too!!!
