Ok a week or so ago I had posted where I was having intermittent power loss mostly when pulling out. I think one of the guys guessed the issue because as of today I finally got the check engine light on. Codes P1510 P2122 and P2138 came up. From what I found it looks like the all point to the throttle by wire. Best I could find from searching is there seems to be a connector that gives folks the issue? Ive never done a handlebar change which seems to be the biggest reason for trouble. Besides taking the throttle apart and cleaning contacts there where will I find the connectors I was reading about? Im away from home so I dont have my book with me.
Yes, it is the plug. I didn’t have a rubber boot either but installed it when I replaced the pins. The boot was a standard part on the 14 and later Rushmores (due to the same issue we're talking about here I presume).

thank you. Im about three hours from home so I guess Ill try cleaning them and see if that helps.
Well after nearly a month I got my bike back from the shop. After the first week they called me said it was done. After running diagnostic it said the twist sensor in the grip. They said they rode it and all was good. I wasnt even out of their parking lot and it was doing the same thing ( cost me $350). So I took it back in and they were very puzzled. Three weeks later I got it back and they had found a cracked wire somewhere under the gas tank. They said they had hours invested in finding it. Shop foreman called me and said they are trying to be fair to me and the shop knowing I already paid $350. He said to be fair to both would I be ok with $108. To be honest I was more than pleased knowing the time they had invested. I was expecting much more. Battlefield harley in Gettysburg
Thanks for the update. Their are threads on here about that same issue. Where the wire loom was zip tied to the frame was so tight when turning the handlebars that it caused the wire to break. Probably the same thing in your situation. Have to cut open the loom and inspect the wires at that point to determine
