Not even for those cold weather trips to Tahoe or Yosemite? I use to live in your neck-of-the-woods, but now in NC. I've gotten back there a couple of times with my King. Here's my config when I took a trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway in colder weather and my CA trips. Helps with the hands keeping warm and dry.

Since this is a wheel cleaning thread, I use a McGuires wheel cleaner and a wheel brush. This works for me.

Shhhhh! Don't encourage them to ride. I love an endless supply of pristine, low mile bikes that can be had cheap. If these guys start riding the only thing available will be used bikes that are actually used.
Clean away men!

Didn't you make a thread on the bag holder your bags are sitting on? I like that idea. I took one of mine off the other day, and set it down with the lid open. Had my tools in it so I figured it would stay upright, WRONG! So now there's little tiny scratches on the lid.

I always have. Dirt gets under the seat and I'm afraid it will get ground against the paint. It's the only way to completely clean the paint on the tank, side covers and rear fender.

It's not nice enough to show off. Just pvc pipe and all thread. But it works for me. I can wash and wax them off the bike. Plus roll them out of the way.

Since when is having a clean bike and therefore not getting ridden mutually exclusive?
It’s actually possible to do both.....or are you not considered a “real” biker unless you’re in the saddle dusk to dawn riding a grimy pigpen of a hog?
Pigpen of a hog.....see what I did there?
