Default Jiffy Stand Issue

Hello everyone, I have a 2015 Road King with 35000 miles that I had noticed a sort of rattling noise from underneath but couldn't find anything loose. It became more pronounced and yesterday I was able to see that something didn't look right about the Jiffy stand and it wasn't moving like it should. I took it off today and it looks like it definitely has some slack and doesn't fit right. Did I lose a spacer or something? Do all the parts appear to be there? I did read that they can wear out and get slop in them and I'm not sure if that's what is happening here. Anybody ever had this experience? Thanks in advance!
P.S. the gap that you see there is the way that it looked when it was on the motorcycle with the stand engaged

Looks right to me, Put the stand out where it should be and check the torque on that bolt on the top. 22 Lbs if I remember correct. But check.

Does it still have the rubber stopper thingy on it where it pulls back up against the frame?

Look at the bottom of the frame for the bumper that I would guess got wedge way too much upwards.

When you throw the bike on a lift, the bumper ends up getting slide upwards, and the jiffy stand end no longer hits it. My have to use a screw driver to start rotating it downward if tight against the bottom of the motor, but then you can just pull rotate if the last of the needed way.

As for installing a new spring it needed (get it from HD, since the china/knockoffs suck and stretch out in a week) with top bolt and plate off the jiffy stand, and the jiffy shaft and Loop area for the shaft greases, cam the jiffy stay way forward, install the spring, then bring the stand back to installed the top plate and torque the nut to 22ft lbs, then adjust the bumper so the stand hits it dead center of the angle section.

And again, get used to pulling the bumper back down every time you put the bike on the lift, since the lift will rotate it up as you jack the bike up.

Check your shift rod for excess play. Add a plastic washer between heim and vertical arms...

I think I'm okay! Took everything apart cleaned it put it back together torqued it properly and it seems to be the way it's supposed to be now. I'm guessing that top retainer bolt had worked its way loose. Added a little blue Loctite so that shouldn't happen again. Pretty sure I need a new spring, I think that you can get a refresher kit for the stand and if so, I'll be ordering it. Thanks for everyone's help!

I think the springs get weak and let the stand bounce around a little, You are probably around the mileage that I replaced my spring.

Well, it turned out not to be the Jiffy stand after all even though it was loose and needed a new spring and tightening up. As I was adding a little air to my front tire I noticed that there were ball bearings in plain sight that I shouldn't be able to see. So, after a new set of front wheel bearings I'm back on the road trouble free. I appreciate everyone's help!
