I'm thinking about doing this conversion on my '05 road king. Can anyone who has put this conversion kit in, tell me if the clutch lever pull is easier, harder or the same as the diaphragm spring. I'm hoping it will be easier than the stock spring.

All depends on the basket spring tension used.
As for easy clutch lever pull, have you lubed the cable yet, since the problem may just be a dry cable to start with.
As for easier clutch pull, don't need to replace the clutch and basket, but just change out the bearing cam plate isntead.
As for extra plate clutch, to get rid of HD spring plate that loves to snap a rivet to take out the clutch and basket, all for that, but replacing a good clutch basket, seems like a waste of money instead.
I've ridden bikes w/ the Barnett Scorpion assembly installed and it is nice. So, if you want to spend the money one finger clutch disengagement is available if you want. There are three choices of spring stiffness to customize feel (as there are six springs on the Barnett opposed to one diaphragm spring on stock one).
You could also try an "easy pull" which will also ease clutch pull.
As Dano said, check lubrication first.
