Default Greg William pushrod question

Si I installed this finally, I've had it since July or so. I didn't realize until I watched a video after the install it is suppose to be flat on one side. Is that so that there is no more excess pressure building up due to the bigger OD of the rod? Thanks.

the push rod made the transfer problem go 95% away maybe 1 or 2 once after 10,000 miles, I called him and he send me the new upgraded one, The man is solid and stood by his product.

My friend has one and he has 100% working good with the rod. I did end up putting the $3.00 primary vent on also. I really did not need to, but I did have $3.00 and a drill and the time to kill.

the 3 dollar vent will solve the problem, the rod is obsolete.

I already have the vent. Dealer installed it. Greg got back to me and informed me the newest version is round which is what I have. I figured since I had it I might as well put it in although since the vent was installed I have no issues.

I didn’t think anyone was still doing the rod fix.

If you do a search right here on this site you will find plenty on the oversize rod and those who had problems with them. It been a few years back (2019) as I recall but it helped some others had issues with finish and fit, while others saw the problem continue with them. Greg got real short with people and got himself banned from this site as well as a few others because it just did not fix the issue, If you cannot find the post they may have been removed) It helped some but as I recall there were plenty that still had issues of transfer and some whom had other issues from the pushrod and had to remove it.

Greg was banned because he refused to become a paid sponsor and kept on selling anyway. Did not play nice. As such we don't want to encourage anyone to do business with him. If you are having problems with his product, contact him.
