So I dropped a cam in the King. Fired it up let her come up to temp . Took a short 5 mile ride to feel things out. When I got back to the house, the whole right side was covered in oil. Today I cleaned it all up and dried everything and warmed her back up. couldn't really find anything. Took that same short ride, running pretty hard bumping the rev limit a couple times... maybe a tiny weep from one of the pushrod tubes.. o-rings seat on heat cycle?
Not sure it's the same, but I had a similar thing happen.
Just had the cams changed in my RK and I keep a pretty clean white wall,if you know what I mean... LoL
After riding it home, I noted some oil spots around the tire's white wall. The kind you get when you leak while on the move. I couldn't see where it was coming from, but kept and eye on it. It didn't seem to be getting worse, so cleaned the tire. Haven't had anything since. Perhaps it could have been a pushrod tube? I thought it might have been some oil trapped on the frame somewhere from when he popped the side cover. A LOT of oil came out then and could have easily found a place to hide. I don't know, but it doesn't seem to be doing it anymore. YMMV
