2018 Ultra Limited, stock LED headlight. My riding buddies say when they looked in the mirror Sunday they said they could barely see my headlight - looked dim. Said the two side lights looked brighter than the headlight. Being a rider, hadn't noticed, I very seldom ride after dark to really use it. My bud is a regular visitor at the local HD dealership and told the service manager about it. I carried it by there yesterday and the service manager compared it side by side to another bike, same light, and said it looked good but seems to be pointing downward - thus needing adjustment. He adjusted both, headlight and side lights. He also said he hasn't heard anything in a while of issues with these lights. Have you guys heard or had any issues with these lights? Thanks.
Wouldn't it be best to just turn on the headlight in your garage to see how bright it is or one night, just park the motorcycle in front of the garage door and turn on the lights?
Likely they were just below the cutoff which would make it appear much less bright. If it was aimed down like service said, that would exacerbate the effect.

I haven't had time to night check it but in the garage I'm not sure. Not something I paid a lot of attention to. Now I'm afraid if I do it this way. I can almost make myself see it any way I want it to appear.
Sounds like it might need adjusted. Maybe its pointing too far down or up in the trees
Probably just vibrated loose. Its pretty simple to do yourself if it happens again. OR maybe your spotlights are just brighter bulbs. My riding buddies think one of my bulbs went out in my center taillight, compared the the running signal lights, but theres only one bulb in it. 😂.
Heres what my service manual says if you want to check it out. Yours is newer but Im sure around the same measurements for adjustment.
