Default Drive belt chaving
Recently discovered my belt is chaving and can't figure out why

Time for a new one. If your bike has high mileage I'd replace the pulleys too.

Oh definitely but I don't want to replace and have it happen again. The belts arnt cheap

that looks like has been dragging on something, possibly an object between drive sprocket and inner primary?

Theres a stone stuck in your inner primary. Find it, remove it, drive on. These belts are friggen bullet-proof.

Think the hard chrome is gone. If you can scratch it with a steel scribe, the sprocket is considered warn out as far a life left. However, depending on miles you do, it could be a year or 10 years.


Of course, alignment should be checked.
