Ya’all don’t know heat until you’ve been in 114 degrees in New Mexico as we were last year. The only effect on my bike was the adhesive holding my Ciro water bottle holder melted, and it fell apart. The only thing I’ve done for heat, is to wrap my pipes. That helped my legs but didn’t change engine temp, my oil in these extremes hit 265. But, I’m running Amsoil, and didn’t notice any issues. I normally see 225 degrees. My tune is whatever the HD download was for my HD torque cam based stage 2.

I ordered CVO screens for my Amazon lowers and a week or two ago I installed them taking out the solid plate. It really helped with the air flow to the motor and to my legs. It won't help deflect any rain but at least you'll be cooler. I'm running a 2020 RG with a Stage 3 119 kit.
Popped out the solid plates on my lowers and will install these when they arrive. Great suggestion! Also changed my oil, had about 3k miles since last change.
