This time i will have to jack from the middle and will probably have to lift the bike pretty high as well.

Has anyone had both wheels off using this method? Is there any added precautions i should take?
Buy an extra rear wheel. I got one cheep for my 09 FLHTCU. Always keep a new tire on it and swap it out when you need it. Makes tire changing a bit easier for me to do one at a time.
BTW I have Pit Bull Lift.

Hydraulic cylinders are very geometric with regards to lifting power. The 4 ton cylinder he’s hoping to use looks geometrically identical. And on the jack, 1500 lbs lifting force is about the max capacity it would have with the arm geometry.
Agreed, He is using the same jack. Force = Area x pressure

I have a cheap jack and lifted my bike many many times to remove both wheels at the same time, no problemo

Must be luck of the draw as I've had a Canadian Tire jack for the last 14 years and never had a problem with it.
