I am about 600 miles into our 9 day ride, and it is HAF, so I am glad I didnt get the fangs. I fear this 128 would croak. So far, I would say the DK wings cut about 40% of my helmet buffeting above 70mph.
I would like to hear more from those with a tank lift
I will let you know next weekend. I will have both the deflector and 1.5 tank lift.
stay safe
Alright, so I paid little bit more attention. On the freeway, I do notice slight improvement in airflow hitting my chin area. There is less air going there. This is with the $16 triple tree deflector.
My "fangs" arrive today, so I am excited (I guess?) to install them and see how they will look and perform. I have PowerVision to monitor the engine temp. I do not have lower fairings on my bike, so I am hoping there will not be much change in temp.

Well, lol its like looking at a chick with a big nose, and at some angles she looks good, but at some some, looks kinda hideous, but, you just have to avoid looking at her at those angles
You have to mount them the way so the concave part is pointing forward. Hope you can see it in my pictures. Reverse way will not work because it will hit the crash bar.
Second, the bigger turn signal plug does not fit through the hole, so it makes it pain in the *** installing there because you have to hold everything together and work the bolts. You will have to remove the bolts holding on the batwing.
I didnt ride it yet, because the weather is shitty but hopefully tomorrow.

looks like the black blends in well though.and that model looks nicer than ones for my year.
I am curious once you get to ride her. Looks good though!
I agree. It blends as well as you could hope for. If they get the job done, then I think you have a winner. Before too long you won't even notice them.
