Default Oil temp sensor

Anyone know where the sensor goes on the oil temp gauge? Replacing the ambient air temp gauge with the oil temp gauge on a 2013 flhx street glide. Need some help on this one

Look at the oil pan. There's a plug next to oil drain plug. That's where I installed the sensor.

Here ya go: Oil Gauge install instructions.

Oil temp sensors generally go on the rear cylinder since that runs hotter. Check your service manual.

And...it's in there w/ red locktite so take it easy on breaking the plug loose. Also, secure sensor w/ red.

Use red, use very sparingly.
I'd just use a crap load of blue, after cleaning all parts.

I have a 2012 EG Ultra Ltd. I too am replacing air temp gauge with oil temp gauge. Instructions say to locate connector 107 (air temp sensor). "Connect the 3-way end of the (new) harness from the kit to the mating connector at location 107." In my repair manual, connector 107 is pointing at the back of the fuel gauge, which doesn't help much. I cannot see anything that has a connector that would match up with the connector on the new harness coming from the oil temp sensor. Can you point me to where the #$%^&! air temp sensor is located? TIA

For the record, I put Teflon tape on mine 25k ago and it's dry as a popcorn fart.
Just sayin'
