As stated above Vance and Hines has several options that are deep, low and have a nice growl. Monster Ovals, Monster rounds, High Outputs, etc.

I see the oems are rated at like 80 db.
I'm looking for a slip on with a little deeper rumble thats just a bit louder. I heard a couple clips of some muffs, rineharts, v&h's, Ness's.....all too loud.
But the Two Brothers Comp S's and the Crusher Tridents seemed a bit louder and deeper without the roar the louder muffs exhibited.

Anyone have any good advice? Not interested jn the 'loud pipes' debate.....
My Jackpot slipons aren't loud at all, but are deep and bassy and bark when you want them tothesaurus very much like a low chopper is overhead, that deep bass as the blades swirl .... I get many compliments

It sucks.

Have you considered SuperTrapp slip-ons? I went to a full system for the same noise issues, and the difference was night and day. Much quieter than Bassani.
Same here.

Listening to clips of sounds gives you a good idea of the sound, but its the sound at open throttle running down the road that is my biggest concern. Most clips are at idle with the occasional rev up, but its just not the same. Getting firsthand opinions is really important because you all are the ones hearing things running down the road.

I had RCX slip ons and liked how they sound.
Disclaimer I always wear earplugs. I switched over to Fuelmoto Jackpots only because I went with their headers.
Both sound okay after a long day, to me anyways.
Unfortunately exhaust is like seats, or holsters, you may have to go through a few to get the right one for you

I have had several sets of slip-ons on my Electra Glide and so far I like the Fuel Moto Jackpots the best. But I would still wear the ear plugs. I always wear ear plugs and wish I would have started wearing them years ago.

I have the Rinehart Slimline Duals on my '17 Ultra. Nice deep growl, can most certainly hear it if you get on it. With that being said, when cruising down the road at 40, 60, 75, I can BARELY hear the exhaust and if I have the stereo up, I can't hear the exhaust at all, nor is there any drone. You need to hear the exhaust in person, because most videos only give an idea of sound from behind the slip ons which is totally different due to the doppler effect. Good luck!

Interesting observation. I have the Slimline Duals and the DBX40’s on my ‘21 SG. They are loud, especially when you hit the throttle. At cruising speeds, they have a constant rumble - you can definitely hear it on the highway.

I used a long 3/8" drill bit and drilled holes in the stock baffles until I liked the sound. I think 4 holes in each side.

I have the standard 4" baffles which are quieter than the DBX baffles. I'm considering going to the DBX baffle because I'd like mine to be louder.
