Timken bearing 2002 ultra ?
Does anyone know what year they stopped the Timken bearings? I have 2002 Ultra with 61K looking to do big bore but also worried about lower end run and rides great now

Left side Timken crank bearings ended with 2002 model year, 2003 and up use rollers on both ends of the crank. That said, I would check runout on both ends before doing major big bore work.

Gear drive cams would be the 26g cams, TW-26 are chain driven. Same grind, just one is chain and the other gear. Do you have gear cams or chain driven (with tensioners)?

I'd still check runout before doing any work...just for piece of mind...I gotta be able to sleep at night lol. I have a darkhorse man o war crank and I still check my runout each winter if I have the cam cover off...just can't help myself.
