They are about in line as far as prices are concerned with other Ohlins dealers. These are offered for people who do not want to search and research… I am sure Ohlins can help set these up.
Do they recommend that these be rebuilt every 20000 miles like the Ohlins?
well they are ohlins, and all oil breaks down, i service the suspension on my dirt bikes every 50 hours, and its due by then. also good time to check for bent shims worn seals etc etc. if you want anything to perform at the top it needs to be maintained. though on a touring street bike with 3" of travel its probably far longer, they just dont create much heat
10% off and no tax, I pulled the trigger. Not supposed to get stock until 31 August. We will see if they can deliver on that or not 🤷🏻
I am excited none the less!
I dont run my tour pak that often but it would be nice to know it fits with or without it with the included brackets.
i don't care for the look myself, but a lot of people do. but i'm not gonna say flat out, 'that sucks', 'that's ugly', etc. because someone else put the effort into something that they like and are proud of. you may not care for what i did with my ride, but i would hope that you would at least have the manners to be tactful about it. or better yet, just not say anything and move on to the next thing.
Until you ride on them compared to the piece of $hit stock shocks and you look in the
mirror and the old lady has both thumbs up?..
So true. While I don't care for the exposed reservoirs, and have mine tucked away, if there were no choice but to hang them out there I can attest that the ride difference is dramatic. My wife loves them!
