True, I've seen some of the Fugliest cars, trucks, and bikes ever - comment NO, if asked I'll say OK, if pressed I'll say everyone has their own taste.
Tried to teach my sons the same, if the owner likes it that's all that matters. My opinion is of 0 value, unless they want to sell it to me, even then I may decline to make an offer.

As far as the shocks suspension is everything. As ststed earlier I would have the reservoirs accessible.

Looking on your guys long answers i see how truly you don't care about my opinion hehe.
As for me I'm happy enough with Ohlins 044 with reservoirs on saddlebag brackets. Pretty sure these SE will not be any better or worse. But okay this setup no dumb just ugly. Completely messing the rear view. But if the point was to show off the public that owner spent 1500 for shocks it is a hit. All others have to explain or remove saddlebags for it.

The 044 are for all intents and purposes the same shocks , just different color. Opinions are like buttholes, we all have one.

what if you were to suggest that I want to put visible remote reservoir shocks on my bike mostly because I've learned they are the best but also because I think they look cool?

i'm a big kid on a motor bike and kind of an attention *****....sorry....just being honest

Kudos to HD for finally offering shocks that are worthy. Love the brackets to hold the reservoirs.

While it's cool that these are adjustable for length, I would much rather have a 13"+ plus shock with additional travel vs having the length adustability.

I installed them on our 2021 SGS last week. They look GREAT!

My dealer ordered several sets and had them in stock. I was able to negotiate a 15% discount off MSRP.

Go to this thread I have started on our Street Glide and on page #6 there are many pictures for reference.

I plan to get out and ride this Saturday and will give my first impressions of them compared to Pro-Action that I run on our CVO Limited.

Ohlins makes shocks without the remote reservoir, frankly i don't see the need at all for a remote reservoir on a 900lb touring bike with 3.5" of travel myself, they are needed in some racing applications, but not here.

were they pretty straightforward to adjust? I had the dealer put mine on and when I get it back in the spring just wondering what I’m in for. Thx

Very Easy! I was spoiled by Pro-Action as they set my original pair up and they have been perfect. I had never set up any myself. However that said Ohlins has a setup application right on their website! It takes all the guess work out. Just go to their website, select your bike, then the shock series and scroll to the bottom of the page for the setup application. Answer the questions and you have your settings. They have also included a chart in the directions that you can follow as well. I expect to have to do an adjustment or two, but that will be easy if needed.
