Just added 46063-98 to Detachable Tour-Pak® rack. doesn't seem to fit right . Anyone else have one? Tried to use the spring washer and the lock hits the sideplate and can't rotate into place.
I bought the 2-pack of the same lock you are talking about and had the same issue with my tour-pack. I installed it the way it is described in the instruction however I added one more thing - I put a washer inside the hole of the actual lock so this would allow the screw to tighten up onto the stud of the tour-pack frame. On mine the machine screw was jamming the lock assembly up against the detachable frame which would keep the lock from being able to rotate. The washer, being small enough to fit inside the hole, basically extended the mounting stud so the lock wouldn't have the chance to get mashed against the detachable frame.
I can take some pics / draw a diagram if it would make things easier.
