The Ace hardware near me used to carry chrome hardware but they don't anymore. They said that they had a lot of money invested in it but didn't sell much so they eventually ran out of existing stock. It was in a smaller town, though. If anyone has a HomeBase store near them, they carry chrome hardware as well.

Some excellent suggestions and I thank you all. I didn't get a chance to go by the local Ace. They carry chrome hardware parts. If I can't get what I need from Ace, I'll check the online venders. Thanks again and everyone stay safe.

I'll second the polished stainless option, small screw heads always eventually rust down in the slots.

Just to add.... If you decide to go with stainless, you can chuck the screws lightly in a drill and spin them into a cloth with some polish on it. They will polish up like chrome i no time.

The Ace near me carries stainless, chrome, "black chrome", and black hardware. It's been nice for the Harley.

Stainless is EASILY had at Ace, True Value or any GOOD local hardware store

If anyone can tell the difference between SS and chrome plated in that application they are way too close to your scoot

Mine are SS Phillips head 1/4-20 ... forget the length
