103 Spark Knock?

No aftermarket exhaust and stock air cleaner. When I say it was all stock when I bought it, I mean it still had the factory tires on a 2013..... It still runs good, just a noise and the noise is inconsistent, but when it happens, it's a a cruising at 70-75 mph rpm

One common cause of spark knock (but I'm inclined to think the more possible culprit is as stated above) is spark plugs AND spark plug wires and a failed exhaust sensor. HD has an Ion Sensing system comprised of the plugs, spark plug wires coils and ECM. The system senses ion build up in the cylinder head and sends a signal back through the plugs/wires/coil to the ECM which then retards the timing to avoid detonation. I had a failed sensor on my 07 and happened to have a Powervision tuner on the bike and I was monitoring the bike after a 107BB Fuel Moto build. I had a failed sensor after 80K miles. Replaced it with a Dynojet "Target Tune" wide band sensors and new plug wires.
Those sensors can get loaded with soot and exhaust gasses if you are burning too rich. Same with the plugs.
