Reflectors or not those distracted and ignorant dumbasses will always say they didn't see you. They won't see you even you decorate your bike with all the lights like a Christmas tree because they either busy checking their FB crap or they just don't give a dime about you, that's my experience with drivers these days (even some riders are same way).

Personal preference. I keep them cause Im lazy and dont care. But people here love their bikes a bit too much to care about removing them. I have lights galore on my especially on rear and fronts. I need to do some more on the sides. Maybe some low key hidden reflective tape on the rails

I took mine off because they looked like ****. If the cagers aren't paying attention reflectors won't help that much. JMO
Also the 1 on the throttle side down tube melted a little. And was in the way of my mustache bar attachment point.

Pretty much the same with any debate these days.....

The great thing about America is being free to think for yourself, evaluate risk, and then make your own choice... well, at least you used to...

More and more, people are being condemned for not "agreeing" with the mob mentality or popular narrative..... kind of sad really...

For me, the reflectors don't bother me a bit. I always leave them on. In fact, once I changed out my lower fork legs and purchased new reflectors to put on those... I ordered the reflectors online and was thinking if I was the only person who ever ordered the fork reflectors from them...??

Again, just my preference, do as you please......
But, but if YOU don't have YOUR reflectors on YOUR bike, the reflectors on MY bike won't reflect... 2021 logic.

The reflectors are there to meet DOT standards for it to be road safe. Basically if you remove your reflectors, your bike is not road safe any more. So if you like living on the edge, then by all means remove them.

Gone... removed all five (put chrome inserts into the saddlebag slots).
Removed as I didn't want yellow and red on the bike (yeah, yeah, I know I could have put smoked ones back on...)
Changed the lights to smoked lens Custom Dynamics as well.
Bike is basically "colorless"... because I like it that way.

Ride On...

Why do you ride a black bike instead of bright yellow, or neon green?
