Default Wiring Issue????

I have a 2014 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited. I have a very strange issue that has even stumped my mechanic. Back in October a buddy noticed that my Tour Pac Running Lights weren't on, but the brake and turn signals worked. I had also noticed that the alarm light on the dash had started to stay lit. The manual said that it should be taken to a dealer then. I took it to my mechanic and he first put it on the computer and as it was throwing a code b2168, b1306, b1342 and b1350. we found those as I had to put a new battery in.
Anyways, the mechanic came up empty. He even took all my custom dynamic led stuff off down to factory bike and started adding it piece by piece. Nothing. He checked everything but the ecm, which requires a trip to a HD Dealer.
Last night, I came in from a ride and I looked at my rear fender light and noticed that it wasn't lit (someone had asked me that). I then noticed that (I have a Street Glide rear fender) the running/stop lights were not on in running mode like the tour pac. I then found that the front fender light is out.
So is there a fuse or major wire to check that would control the front fender light, tour pack running lights, main running lights, and the rear fender light. If not, any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Ron

What is the common connection point for all of those lights in the FSM? That's where I would start.

The lights are not controlled by the ECM.

The running lamps are all on the same circuit, powered by the Body Control Module.

Unplug the connector for the rear lighting harness near the rear fender.

Read the voltage on the terminal for the Blue wire at the connector on the main harness side of the connector.

What does it read?

Don't forget to check frame ground terminals for wiring. Lot of corrosion problems at those ground lugs.

All but the front fender tip light are aft the connector where "Dan89FLSTC" suggested you disconnect and measure the voltage from the main harness side. That check would let you know that the BCM is sending the proper voltage to all the rear lights...

Since you have had the "issue" change, and now the front fender tip light is also involved, I would also inspect the ground(s), as suggested by "GTK". A bad ground can cause intermittent and changing issues within a circuit.

Let us know what you find....

PS- How did you determine that all your codes were battery related...?? If they are intermittent, they could suggest a bad/weak ground or a bad/weak connection in one of the connectors at the rear of the bike.

B2168- Running lights open or shorted
B1306- Rear hand controls shorted high
B1342- Rear left speaker open
B1350- Rear right speaker open

If there are no blown fuses, then there is an open somewhere. If a fuse is blown, then something is going to ground. When an item(s) is intermittent then the trouble is in a broken wire, or a loose ineffective connector.

Judging by the OP`s participation in this thread, it looks like we all wasted our time answering this post ...
