Just installed one of these www.ridetimetechnology.com/ft_48led.htm on my rear fender. Nice addition to my bike, easy install and it really lights up the rear end. Got it delivered in 3 days and had no problems with the install. It is a replacement for that little 4 watt installed at the factory and acts as an additional brake light. I hit my brakes now and I have four (count em) four lights activating (my dealer installs the brake/turn conversation kit on every bike they sell). Next, I wanna get one of those LED light bars that install on the bottom of the tour pack and, finally, one of those flasher thingys that pulsate when you apply the brakes...figure that should pretty well keep me visible to the cages behind me. Ride safe.
That light looks pretty cool. I've seen other threads talking about their tour pack lights. I might try the tour pack lights that function as brake/turn signal/running lights. Seems like getting their attention way up high would be a good thing.

You have got my interest with this LED light. just how easy was it to install. are you happy with the quality of the light. thanks for helping. ted
Ted, it took me about an hour to install. If I had followed the directions instead of just glancing at them and "winging it" it would have been a twenty minute job. Just follow the directions and it is easy. As far as lighting goes...it is much brighter than the factory bulb, AND it functions as an additional brake light..win/win for me. Buy it, you won't regret it.
