I am in need of a new battery. Sucks too because it's the holiday weekend. I could go down to get one immediately but want to make a good purchase. I have been considering Lithium battery for quite sometime but there is a lot of skepticism on how well they work in baggers despite the fact that Harley makes one for touring models. I am wondering real world experiences. Do you have or have you had one? How long did it last? Do you keep it on a trickle every night? Lead batteries are 30ah lithium is like 8ah. Does that matter even though I have zero accessories or a radio? The battery I have now is a Wicked Start 600cca and 30ah lead battery. The battery I am looking at is a Noco 700cca and 8ah. the difference is only 30 bucks between the two so if a lithium battery is thought or proved to be better I will go with it.
I personally think it’s overpriced and overkill. I’ve always used a regular battery and kept on a tender for the last 25 years. Ultimately it’s your choice.
I’m going on the third season with their product, I think it was a Duracell if memory serves me right. Best price, they are everywhere across the country for warranty and usually open 7 days a week. I will be a return customer.
You intrigued me with that wicked start 600cca battery. I wouldn't get the lithium but I'm in the cold and hear it don't do well then . I did just get a lithium jump box, fits in the side pocket of the truck back seat.

I am not sure i can honestly recommend it. It lasted barely two years and for $180 bucks not sure that is really worth it. The battery I had on my RK lasted me 5 and was still good when I sold it. I cant remember for the life of me what kind it was though.
