I upgraded the front wheel with a 21inch Reinforcer with rotors and bearings installed and a Shinko tire(I will be ordering a Mich later) package deal for my 2009 SG with ABS. Prior to the install I took the bike to the stealer to have the ABS flush service because I installed new brake lines and EBC pads. Anywho, I removed the old rim/tire and installed the wheel on the bike and made sure the tire was in the correct rotation. Torque up and went for a test ride. When I start to apply the front brakes it wants to stop but there is some shaking going on down there that I can feel thru the bars. I rechecked all the bolts and calibers all was tight. There is a small space between the stock right spacer and the wheel which i ordered some tapered spacers but the wheel is solid with no looseness on the ground or on the lift. the ABS wheel sensor is where it should be per the service manual. ABS light goes off when I take off and does not seem to malfunction. Has anyone experienced this issue and How was it resolved. Thanks
Right off the bat I would say there should not be a space between the spacer and the wheel, everything should be as it was before you changed things out, pics would help.
i put a 21 wheel w new rotors and pads and am getting a vibration issue a s well. Original spacers went back in w no gaps. I just dropped it off at dealer yesterday to have it inspected. I am thinking bad bearing.
Did you follow the proper torque sequence? And did you put antisieze on the axle? Also the spacer has little lines on it. Are the in the same orientation as before?

Yes I did torque all starting with the brake calibers, left side wheel nut and the 2 right sides nuts. I used the stock spacers that came with the stock wheel
The only other thing I can think of is that there are two different size wheel bearings one is 1 inch and the other is 25mm (or something like that) were the wrong wheel bearings installed on your wheels? Because you might have the smaller axle with the larger bearings and that’s why it’s shaking.
Well I would think mismatch bearing would be most noticeable when I installed the axle and when riding. I only get the shake when applying the brakes. A biker friend told me today he had the same issue when he changed wheels. Turned out to be the rotors were wrapped. I told him these were new and he said so they still could be warped enough to cause the shake and vibration when the brakes applied, I don't know how I would check them other then removing them and having them looked at

take it apart again and put the original rotors from your original wheel onto the new wheel and see if that solves your issue
