if you trust him to do the work, go with his suggestions. All quality parts and I’m sure he’ll pick the tuner he’s most comfortable with.

I'm paying a guy to do the work as I just don't have the time. He comes HIGHLY recommended and I went to his shop and had a good talk with him. He seems legit!

This is what I'm thinking (per his suggestions):
  • Woods 222
  • Rinehart Slimline Dual headers
  • Rinehart 4" slip-ons
  • S&S Stealth AC
  • Dyno Tune
I know many folks run many things on their bikes. I just want to know, would this be a decent setup?

Thanks in advance!

Crap I started it, my bad which is funny, to me, because I usually notice stuff like that... and then didn't...
duel - dual, their - there, your - you're, brake - break... and sooo many more, usually catch my eye.

But on the exhaust, my 16 RGU & 12 Heritage I thought they sounded like a sewing machines with factory exhaust. Just about any different slip ons, other than stock, will "sound" better. I like the ones you mentioned because they are very tolerable on long highway runs, without feeling the need for ear plugs. They also have a good "bark" though when you get into the throttle. There's a guy that rides in a group that I sometimes ride with. I can't remember what exhaust he's running (other than its a Vance & Hines system), but I always try to avoid being the next few people behind him... and If I am I find myself, on long runs, dropping back more than usual. But he is also really sold on what he has

I installed woods 222's on my 14 low rider along with the S@S stealth and Supertrapp exhaust and a power vision tune provided by Fuel Moto, it has good low end and better top end than the stock cams provided.

Another great cam for an otherwise stock 103 is the Andrews 57H

Good info in this thread:

Another Excellent choice that I may suggest:

TTS-100 cam & Fullsac "D" X-pipe.
Use stock head shields.
Will need a good turner. TTS Mastertune Turner/Power Vision.

It's all great info! Sounds like his suggestions should work pretty well for what I'm looking for and my style of riding.. He's using the Power Vision BTW.
Thanks again all! I'll let you know how it goes!
Be safe!

I have read a lot of that thread in the past. Great info. Looks like the 57H's are producing very similar numbers to the 222's. And since he suggested, and is doing the work... There is also a link somewhere on that thread giving an in-depth explanation of the ins and outs of cams. Great info!

Thanks!
