No.. Harley sells a 128 kit for the 107. There's 124 aftermarket like zippers and others tho. But I was talking the genuine Harley performance mod.

I was today years old when I learned that. Thank you for the info.

Over here in the UK, the price of the ST is only Ł400 ($540) above that of the Special.

Like the OP, I prefer the look of the Special, with the stretched bags, and the dual seat, and the cleaner look of the rear lights and bag infill....BUT the ST's got the 117 motor, and better (?) rear shocks.

Decisions, decisions......
13 inch stock shocks that can be had anywhere on the web for 100-200 US dollars

If someone already has a Special, can't see moving to this. For a first time RG or SG shopper, it is an interesting choice.

Personally, I would have thought an ST model would have come with the better suspension. Overall though, it's $30k. Past the extra 3" of motor and aesthetic stuff, not sure what you're getting over the Special.

I'm very interested in the LRS ST and have been following it heavily. The 117 motor is the same as the ST If the dyno charts that Fuel Moto has on a CVO stock 117 are correct, the 117 would be the 1st HD air cooled engine I wouldn't be rushing out to change. Although, I am very curious to see what the Stage II Power cam does.

At the very least, I'm happy to see HD acknowledging performance as a criteria for their bikes. Some of the newer offerings are starting to become interesting for sure.
In really digging the ST's! As mentioned not a fan of droopy bags at all.

Had I not purchased my bike last year when I did, the ST would be a serious contender over the Special for several factors, one of which being the standard bags and the 117 option. But I think others have already touched on it that the EG is very similar for a lot less. Still, the ST would have been my go to.

Buy the EG and put a good aftermarket cam in it and spank the 117 and have money left over

Like I said, not in the market. That said, I'm looking into cams and will do dang near what you just said in the near future.

Yes sir, cam is where it’s at for the money. Any future HD I buy will not matter the stock engine size cause after having my 128 I couldn’t imagine anything less so whatever it comes with stock will only stay that way long enough for me to get it from the dealership to FM for another big bore.

I do not get what is so great about the 117. Maybe I am missing something.
