What About Alarm System???
My .02 worth....
My bike ('05 RKC) didn't come with the security system. I looked at other options in the aftermarket arena but opted for the HD stuff. I knew it was made for the bike and there would a place for everything to fit. I installed the security module, siren II and bought the page that works hand-in-hand with the siren II.
Yes, you are looking in the right place. The siren mounts behind the ECM bracket. It snaps into place. If you install the siren II it also has a wire used to transmit the signal to the pager if so desired. You just run that wire along the section of frame under the seat.
Since you already have the module installed you should have no problems. If you were installing the actual security module (TSSM) to replace the existing turn signal module (TSM) you would have to go through the "learning" steps to match the new module with the ECM.
Kess states an excellent point....if they want to steal it, they will steal it. However there's nothing wrong with making it as hard as possible for them. I like the pager just for the situation of mall shopping, going out to dinner, etc. Nothing would please me more than to have the pager go off and I walk up on someone messing with the bike.

That would be locking the forks and ignition, use a good auxillary lock (like a Cobralinks), electronic devices (I have the H-D Smart Siren II w/ pager and recommend it) and covering the bike with a nondescript cover.
People always say that theives will get your bike if they want it bad enough. Probably true, but so far, the above precautions have worked for me.
