I have a 2007 Harley Road King with Deutsch electrical connectors, does anyone know what year they changed to Molex connectors? I ordered a Burly wire extension kit for my ape hangers and they sent me extensions with the Molex (square pins and sockets ) not the Deutsch (round pins and sockets). I know I read somewhere that they changed to Molex in 2008 but can't find the info, just trying to get my facts right before I try to return the wiring. Thanks

 

McMaster Carr can provide Deutch connectors you might consider as an alternative. YouTube has instruction on Deutch connectors install. Not difficult.

 

The connectors on my '06 were different than the connectors on my '07.
