Thnaks Karl and Kurt. Karl, I printed out your example and will look into it. Kurt, I was told that the recent firmware upgrade (4.4 i think) was the one that would take care of decel popping. There was noise on this forum recently about the download. I have not noticed much difference since the download, however.

No, the new Smartlink is out right now but the actual firmware that uploads onto the module hasn't been released yet. I was told to expect it in about 10 days.
I was wondering on this AFR map. If i want to do this do i do the same map for all the RPM pages? This is confusing to me why so many pages of AFR maps when they all relate to the same RPM area on one map? I hope that makes sense. In other words if i just do one RPM map pageis for that one specific RPM or all RPMS on one page? My thndermax is about to go if i dont get rid of the ping i experience and the gas milage sucks. Any help appreciated. Havent got no where with TMAX suppot/ wayne

Wayne, send me a copy of your map, your motor configuration and the areas that you are having problems with pinging, etc. and I'll make some adjustments for you to try.
To answer your question, you have to make adjustments to every AFR table as they change every 256 rpms from 0 rpm to your rev limit...6200 rpm.
i was getting a lot of decell pop and it did not mather what i did it was still there.i hook up my bike and click on read module map.
after the ecm map was open i whent to close loop config and all the way down to the bottom where it reads maximum clp offset i entered 2% for session and 3% maximum(map)after i click on write settings to map i cleared the iac and fuel offset learnings.once i started the bike again it idle a lot smoother and the decel pop was completly gone.i am not talking a lot better i mean completly gone.no gurgle , no low poping no nada.is like a new bike period.for what i understand the lower the numbers the smoother the learning.i red on the forum to jack the numbers up to speed up the learning prosess for the thundermax.it actually hinders the learning prosses.if you dont believe me enter maximun to 50% and start the bike.it will run like is ready to fall apart.the reson is becouse the thundermax is gooing thru all of the settings and fuel points at a superfast rate and it cannot set all of this points and tune at the same time.
