Default Recommendation - Tire inflator

Seems I have to drive all over my neighborhood to find one that works. Looking to get my own tire inflator/air compressor one that won't overheat within 5 minutes and will actually fill a tire in a reasonable time.

Thanks

There are plenty of small compressors out there. You night watch sales from Lowes of Home Depot. They had a sale on a small compressor and air nailer for $59.

Picked up a small kit at AutoZone. Came with a small compressor (12V) and a 16oz bottle of Slime (tire sealant). Inflated the rear tire in about 5 minutes without the compressor getting hot......will be kept in the saddlebag at all times.
EDIT.....cost of the kit was $20

Found a small Coleman compressor at Odd Lots...$9. It won't work at Indy in the pits, but even if it takes 15 minutes to fill a tire on the roadside, it's better than waiting for a tow.

if you are talking about one for home and not fior emergency road use, go to sears. I picked up a nice one for $69 that fills my tires up in about 2 minutes. And it can be used for just about anything else as well.

[sm=exactly.gif] Craftsman makes great compressors. Can't put one in a saddlebag though.

Try Harbor Freight. They have a pretty good selection of compressors.
