Cut the antennae until they clear the doors and then you will be good to go. I cut both of mine and just used a power meter to adjust the power output of the CB at the loading coil until it matched so it won't burn up the radio. It's in the service manual and easy to do. The power meter is not that expensive and if you ever replace the antennae you need to calibrate the loading coil.
With a little hammering and an anvil, everything looks good with the antennas again. I just bend them down and hook the ball end of the whip into the saddlebag latch handles. Holds them secure without any damage being done.
