2004 RoadKing won’t Start
I have no power going to my fuel pump fuse, but all the other fuse have power. I can’t hear the fuel pump kicking on….. what my problem?? Any help would be appreciated!!
Are you sure you don't have power at the fuse, did you use a meter or a test lighy to test power on both sides of the fuse, did you test the fuse with a multimeter? Just because you can't hear the pump doesn't mean there is no power to the fuse.
do you have access to a wiring schematic and electrical diagnostic manual? I don't know your vintage RK but it could be a number of things such as the engine run/off switch or neutral switch. In the Rushmore bikes it could also be the fuel level sending switch or the fuel pump power from the BCM.

You talking about the fuse or the relay...?? I believe the relay is prior to the fuse...
I take it you have full power everywhere except you don't hear the pump prime.. correct? The bike turns over, just won't start due to lack of fuel, correct?
IIRC... the ECM sends a signal to the fuel relay for about 3 seconds immediately after the ignition switch is turned on. It's meant to prime the fuel pump. The ECM then kills power to the fuel pump until it sees the engine running (via the CPS I believe)...
So you will only get power to the relay, the fuse, and the pump for about 3 seconds after the ignition is turned on... until the engine is running...
In any case, if the relay is bad, then you won't hear the pump or get power at the fuse.
If the pump is bad, you will only measure power to the relay, fuse, and pump for about 3 seconds after the ignition switch is first turned on
So I set it up to check for voltage at the pump connector, and am testing for 12 volts as I turn on the ignition...
If there is no 12 volt at that time, it's ECM, relay, fuse, or wiring related and I check those out...
If there is 12 volts at the pump connector immediately after turning on the ignition, and I don't hear the pump, I know it's that connector or downstream to the pump, and it's time to open up the tank and pull the pump for inspection...
Good luck with your diagnosis and repair...
