When will I ever learn???
Stopped by the local dealership the other day to have my clutch cable looked at because it was bleeding.
Real top notch mechanic pulled her in out ofthe rain and found the problem right away, the cable was rubbing on my brake lines and wore a hole in the sheathing, causing the leak.
After disscussing the fix, we found out the dealership didn't have the cable in stock, and since it really wasn't leaking "that bad" it could wait til winter. (My warranty would still be in force, so no biggie)
So yesterday, I stop by the dealership thatI bought the bike from, and my salesman is out talking to me, and I mention the cable. He says hold on, I will be right back.
When he comes back he says they got the cable, and can do it right now. Cool!!
Write up the repair and tell the service writer to have the mech save the tranny fluid and put it back in sinceI just changed it,they don't sell it,and I don't have any with me to replace it.
"No problem" .... well until the mechanic comes out and begins to tell me "I don't re-use oils"
"Hmmmmm, well bud, thats my bike and thats what I want done"
He finishes the clucth cable replacement and then tells me he's done, but needs to test ride and clean the bike. He also tells me to "top off" the tranny when I get home, since he didn't have enough tranny fluid.
Well I got home and this morning put almost a quart of tranny fluid in my tranny.... top off my azzz, he didn't put any in the thing!!
My call to the salesman was less than cordial.

I did not know that. I thought that he had a hydralic clutch, and that was why it was leaking. LOL, Learned something new tonight.
