Charge the battery full, and let it sit for 2 days. Then measure the battery voltage at the end of 48 hours.
Then fully charge the battery again, unplug the voltage regulator, and let it sit for 48 hours again, and then measure the voltage.
Use a real dmm not the built in voltage meter. Compare the two measurements. That will tell ya if the voltage regulator is causing the parasite draw…you can repeat this exercise on various other circuits to identify where you have parasitic draw.
Modern bikes should be fine for a month or two with a good battery. Using a maintenance charger will only guarantee the last start will be when you leave home
FIrst, get a AC/DC/Volt meter that has say 10AMP draw.
There cheap. Put it in AMP and remove negative on battery and with everything off, hook in in series. You will see a spike as the connection is made but after 30 seconds, it should trim off to less then 150 milliamp.
If it doesn't, you have a drain. Probably, the wreck damaged the stator. Remove their 3 wire connectors from bottom of regulator and use ohm meter to make sure they are not grounded to frame.
Also make sure nothing has been connected to battery extra . I didn't see were its a new battery. Battery is pretty fragile inside
