My half helmet came with this style buckle installed, and I like it so much that I bought this conversion kit to put on my Shoei FF. It seems to be way better than another crappy one I had tried to use in the past.
Anyone here use this one? Pros/cons? I haven't installed it yet, but will later today.
I had that on my Shoei or perhaps it was the Nolan... anyway I liked it alot. Now back to the old school loopback strap on the HJC. May have to grab one of those.
my half helmet also has the quick release that looks similar to the one you posted. i love the convenience of it. I have a shoei full face i wear for commuting or if i know i'll be doing long distance hwy rides, well long distance by my standards. Maybe I should clarify and say primarily hwy route. Anyway I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts once you install that. I might do the same for my FF.
@702 My new Schuberth C3 has that style. Wasn't a fan at first but it's actaully much easier once you get accustomed to the system. It's actually easier to mainpulate with gloves for me.
It took all of 5 minutes to install this. It is very high quality, and super easy to use. I might wait a couple days to go ride with it, it's a tad warm here. But just like my half helmet, I'm sure I'll like it just fine.
