Default Anyone using "Fork Fangs" (Wind Deflectors) on Road Glide?

Tried a search but could not find any threads already open on this. Anyone running the "Fork Fangs" i.e. Wind Deflectors on a Road Glide? Since I didn't see any threads (Also searched Youtube and didn't find any videos either), is it safe to assume Road Glides don't have the same buffeting problem as Street Glides?

The fangs did work great on my SG. My Glide got hard lowers that I’m very happy with though I wish they would open easier

I don't own a RG but when I questioned a few owners about the need for the fangs they told me it wasn't necessary because of the design of the fairing, which wraps around the bottom farther back towards the rider versus the batwing that isn't designed that way. Next time you are close to a RG look at how the fairing "wraps around at the bottom" and you'll see what I mean.

Interesting question actually. Before I bought my RKS, I popped over to the local demo days to try a SGS and RGS. I hated the SGS. The fairing was too close and the buffeting was brutal. No doubt it could probably be fixed by a myriad of different things. When I tried the RGS, no buffeting at all. It must be the way the fairing sits.

I do have the fangs on my RKS, because they were needed with a shield and a full face.

I bought something similar to the fangs when I got my RG back in 2018 or so... https://www.glideairdeflectorsystem.com/

To be honest they're still in the box and I never even installed them, so I can't comment on how they work. All I can say is that somebody makes a similar product

E-V-E-R-Y bike and owner is different. Made a HUGE difference to my setup (I swear by them) and evidently no change in @kel03 setup.

I don't think either one of us is fibbing.

I installed the GADS on my RG and it made a significant and positive difference.

Good to know! I really dont any issue at all with the airflow as it is, but maybe I will give it a shot.

What would you say changed?

It was mostly during cold rides - I could feel a lot of wind coming over the lowers and at my chest which was stopped with the GADS. In hot weather I don't think they're needed.
