Okay folks let's put our heads together. I need to extend the passenger runningboards out about 1/2" - 1" away from the bike. Anybody know where I can buy'em or am I going to have to make'em?
These are not for passenger footboard applications.
Hey Jim. Any chance of you making a kit for the passenger boards????
Jim started out making the passenger kit that was similar to the Pingels. Made a set for me, but there was more interest in the driver spacers for it to be worthwhile and cost effective.
jtouchette, the set I have are just like the Pingels and you should be happy with them. They work totally awesome for me and keep the wife's feet off the pipes as well as you no longer have to remove the left footboard to take off your derby cover. I don't know why many others that do their own servicing don't go with these because I also have the Kuryakyn adjustable passenger pegs and having to remove that as well as the floorboard everytime I wanted to get in the derby was a PITA and it is worth it for that reason alone!! The original reason I got it was for a variable pressure clutch application and needed to move the derby cover out farther.
