went to fire the bike up this morning - and not enough juice in the battery to even turn it over. yay. kind of an early fail on that methinks. Going to call it in to the stealership and grump a bit. factory warranty is good until Jan 2023 so I think I have a pretty solid argument for them taking care of it out of their pocket. PITA is going to be taking the time out of my day to drive an hour each way, when i could be riding it somewhere else a lot more fun.
Depending if you rode enough to fully charge the battery on your last ride, how long between rides could be part of the problem. The alarm system is active all the time. If the last ride was short not fully charging the battery then an extended time between rides can run the battery down. Before riding an hour away check the easy items are the terminals tight?
You will probably make more than one trip. Dealer will want to put good charge in battery before load testing. I would charge battery, then take it to a local auto parts store and have them test it. If it tests bad you will have a print out showing it,and if it tests good you will save a trip to dealer.I hope you keep battery on a battery tender.
Never kept the older bikes on a tender, save for winter. I ride pretty much every day it's not raining. if a battery can't keep a charge for 12 hours then IMO something's wrong with the vehicle or the battery. However, yeah, gotta drop the bike overnight for them, called them and apparently they've had a number of 21's in already for the same issue. it is what it is I guess.

Not sure who makes the batteries for HD, but the Hondas had a rash of bad batteries in the '21 m/y Gold Wings. Yuasa makes them. Had a bad run, I guess.
That does suck, I'm sure your dealer will listen to your bitch, but prolly wont replace it, I'm sure they will tell you its a wear item like brake pads and such, good luck.
