Hi guys can you help please , I’ve a 2022 street glide special , wanting to remove ignition to change bars ect , all the vids show to turn ignition switch to the right horizontal position insert key turn back and press button underneath , I can’t get my ignition to turn to horizontal position .? Am I missing something . Cheers Andy
Ok the front wheel is straight , but I thought if you remove the ignition then turn the handle bars the tumblers won’t line back up. As I’m needing to remove switch panel as adding lights too .
If you end up removing the ignition switch, do yourself a favor and order one of these to save yourself heartache and frustration. Yes, there will be people that chime in that did it with a screwdriver (which may require hours of frustration until you get lucky), or some McGiver type with too much time on his hands and created some whacky tool, but this is not expensive and it works.
