Only when on a trip that I have gotten caught in long periods of rain. Other than that never. Just gotta get that road grime from rain riding off before it can be cleaned right.

I use them on a trip, but then very carefully. Generally, I just use them for the water. I carry a small bottle of S100 for the wash. You never know what chemicals those things are using in them.

Sure, you can get them bugs off of your fairing, but you can also strip the paint. I have a buddy that was blasting the bugs off of his fairing with the wantand was really proud until he realized that he was also peeling off the clear coat. You also gotta be carefully with high pressure and bearings. Don't go spraying directly on the wheel bearings, swingarm, or fork neck. You can wash the grease out.

You should never use a high pressure wash on exposed engines or electronics. Fast way to an early death for electronics.
And, NO, my dealer does NOT use a pressure washer either. If yours does, I'd be taking pictures of it so when my electronics short out I have proof of what caused it. I'd also find another dealer
