Default Eagle Lights, Gen III L E D Complete Changeover, and more!

In July I bough a complete set of Eagle Gen III passing and headlights for the 2012 Ultra Classic, as well as front and rear factory replacement turns. The headlight as well as the passing lights are Killer! Brighter and Wider through than buddies Harley Daymaker. The clear "bright" front turns add even more close front lighting from the fender out, and the brightness level when they turn to yellow turn indicators blow most others away as well as the rear turns! But that ain't all, the service after the sale, and the lifetime warranty, as well as the ease of install, with flash module's and converters and adaptors if needed is top notch and simple!

The only thing I wish I would have done was converted the rear turn only to 1157 tail, turn, and brake, which my factory turn bar was only a 1156 plug. So a while back talking with my nephew who bought my 07 Heritage told me he switched it over smaller double mount T,T, and B, on it and I should come and get the old lightbar that had the 1157 inserts and change receptacle's and wiring out.

Well at my age I never jump into anything, but finally after the Tennessee trip I decided to call Eagle lights and see what they would do, maybe exchanging my 1156 L E D's for the 1157 if I change my plugs. No need! they had a module that plugged into the flash module and would give me 70% brightness on the two turn bulbs for tail, and full brightness for brake and turn, with my 1156 L E D's that I had bought from them originally, and just $69.00, cheaper than the bulbs if I had to buy them.

I have nothing but praise for Eagle Lights, there definitely not cheap knockoffs like most sell, and they are so great to work with. Right around $650.00 or a tad less for everything with shipping tax and all, I have the best lights available, with lifetime warranty, and I can't express how much brighter and wider these headlights and the rest of the replacement's are compared to others I've seen, as well as how great everything fit and the ease of the install, as well as how complete everything was from instructions, to the need for a headlight adapter ring for my model, everything was a seamless changeover. The quality is fantastic, as is the service after the sale!

Oh and I've heard of others experience radio or music interference thru the speakers, not one issue on the factory radio and stereo, plug and play perfect. I would buy them again in a heartbeat! Pictures suck at showing the brightness in full sun I know, but this is just for reference.

Looks great 👍. I recently installed Sunpie LED on my 2012 Ultra Limited. The headlight and passing lamps. Over this winter I would really like to replace the rest of the the lights such as the front and rear turn signals and brake light to led as well. So many choices out there: Custom Dynamics, Eagle Lights, Hog Workz….. I’m in Canada and shipping, duties, exchange rate add so much to what would be a reasonable price. Maybe a road trip next spring, and have them installed at one of the rallies….🤞

I posted about my experience, with Eagle Lights, back in July. They’re a serious player, in the lighting world, for sure.

I had an Eagle Gen 2 on my FXDLS, it was a great light

Eagle is the only one I would recommend of the less-expensive imported lights. The cut-off on mine was great, and no gnarly blinding glare. Side by side with the CD light, and the Hogworkz, my friends and I really preferred the pattern, color and the cut-off of the Eagle.

I seriously thought about it again before I spent the money on the JW Speaker

Forgot to mention the brake light, not just that it's L E D it also upgraded the Ultra to the 3 second triple strobe attention getter when the brake is first activated. This whole upgrade was about more than just going 100% L E D, it was also about bringing more awareness to my surrounding traffic, the brake is a real attention getter! But I stumbled on this from a good friend in Ga. Who highly recommended the Gen, III not just because each Generation upgrades brightness but the Gen III eliminated a lot of electronics interference with other onboard components, mainly your sound system.

And yes, the bright headlights are unbelievably wide not just higher as well as offering greater reach and cleaner color. The passing lights are unreliable wider while the low beam keeps that longer reach. They add new relevance to the passing lights, unbelievable how wide to the sides and lateral distance they light up.

Thanks for the right up Bobster. I recently put Sunpie head and running lights on my 08 Heritage. The running lights are still on the bike but the headlight is resting comfortably in a land fill. It wasn't bright and constantly rattled around in the housing. I ended up putting in another Hogworks bulb since it came with s lifetime warranty. Next time I need lights I'll definitely look at Eagle.

The lights are made here in the U.S.A. Just got done checking. I run JW Speakers on my Triumph and they work great. Cost was ridiculous.
